Living out our mission of celebrating God’s love through Christ means a commitment to loving and serving our neighbors as Christ did. This commitment to missions and service has been the culmination of our church vision. That is, to be a passionate, worshipping, loving, inviting faith community reaching out to a world in need, empowered by God’s transforming love through Christ.
The Missions Committee, under the spirit-filled leadership of Bob and Alice Tannehill, have set the standard for dedication and enthusiasm in supporting local, regional and global ministries throughout the year through mission trips, volunteer projects and more. Each Sunday we share a “mission moment” in worship and collect a loose coin offering for specific ministries. Everyone, including the children and youth, are encouraged to look for ways to reach out to neighbors in need. Take a look at some of the ministries that started with God’s guidance and a few willing hearts at William Street. We’d love to have you join us as we serve as God’s hands and feet in the world.
